So…. Traditionally this time of year is full of “silly season ” fripperies in the news but sadly this last week saw the headlines dominated by an earthquake (Haiti), mass shooting (Plymouth) and civil war in Afghanistan.

On a less poignant and tragic note however, the pingdemic is finally over (yey!) …. three quarters of adults have now been double jabbed in the UK ….. and many of us are managing to escape on those much needed summer breaks.

And finally breaking news just in …. Kerry Katona has dyed her hair purple as part of her mid life crisis !!! Not to be out-done by another chavvy has-been , Katie Price has undergone another face- lift and the GC has taken up surfing in Cornwall !!!

– Oh F***ing silly season how we have missed you!!!!!

Anyways ; on to more serious stuff and last week you secured a not- at -all- daft £29,326,389 of lending across 95 cases – no mean feat considering that many of you have been away !

Top of our very own Hello and Chat magazine A lister charts this week was Mark Nathan who secured a very dazzling £4,505,849 of lending across 4 cases, which included his “ Big Time Barry ” Award winning£2,401,146 case with Barclays/Woolwich. Mark was followed by a really impressive podium leap from recent joinee in CFF’s Chris Cox with £1,701,990 across 2 cases and Chris Taylor with £1,412,169 of lending across 3 cases.

Then hopefuly enjoying a well earned cocktail on the beach were this week’s high hitters in terms of case value and volume – which included Zak Abdul Karim, Heather Wall and Warren Middleton (who completed 6 cases each) along with Ian Broadrick, Ajay Sharma, Sandy Mcilvenna, (nice) Mike Atkinson, Alex Cast and Michelle Barraclough. Warren also nailed it on the Life side with 4 cases …what an all rounder he is ….

On the lender side you completed the greatest number of cases this week with NatWest totalling 13 for £3,856,295 of lending.

Protection – Week 32

The gaffer had to put his sunglasses on to read this week’s results over on the Protection side of the business as you completed an absolutely stunning 46 cases of which Nicholas Price secured 12, followed byKevin Gronow and Sophie Evans with 8 each.

Those welsh folks really are something , and a belated Congratulations to them on a staggering first 6 months in business .

Claire Hutchinson secured the highest policy amount this week for £311,495 with Zurich, with the above -feted runner- up Warren Middleton securing a tidy policy for £256,500 with Aviva.

On the provider side you completed the greatest number of deals overall this week with L&G totalling 11.

Management Notices

Afternoon All, ( from David Brent )

The Conference now seems an eternity ago and we hope to have some fantastic < and revealing ! > photos popped in an MF folder for you to view in the next fortnight.

Our thoughts now turn to our next 2 functions, the Midlands & Northern Conference in Derby on Friday October 29th (with social afterwards !) and of course the big bad boy trip to Marbs in mid November.

( 17th and 18th will be the ‘’ working ‘’ days !! ) . Kerry will be writing to you shortly on these events as we now urgently need to firm up on the rooming arrangements .

I am out there next week on a Boot Camp ( at last ! ) and I’ll be short-listing some entertainment options including an Irish dancer for some of you to perform with !

There will also be a big Tennis Doubles Match after our group lunch one day at the prestigious Marbella Tennis Club ; It’s lining up as a titanic clash featuring ;

The Young and The Elegant ( Will Avrilli & Nick Harris ) ; Combined ages , 53

Versus

The Beauty & The Beast ( Becky Hadley pictured above , and myself ) ; Combined ages , 93

( If the young ‘uns win , everyone gets a free lunch on me …. that’s how confident Becks and I am ! ( … no pressure , Becks ! ) .

OTHER NOTICES ;

Incidentally , as far as Marbs goes , we will rightly be allocating the roof top suites according to performance. So I am pleased to illustrate above a pic of the private jacuzzi area earmarked for mademoiselles Evans, Townsend & O’Hara who have all had a fantastic year . Go Girls!!!

Talking of mad madams, we’ve also attached a pic of 5 M’Force beauties from Norms’ 40th bash at the weekend (which ironically looked like a dry run for Marbs! ).

And it was in fact an auspicious week for MF’s numerous ‘ammers fans . Last week we profiled a modest provincial club in Bristol City and this week I chose to continue with that themed exposition of regional feeder clubs ….. in West Ham?!

Warren’s exploits above aside, Sarah and Mark shared a golf buggie last Friday and helped to defeat messrs Oglesby from MF and Ian May from Landbay.

Mark continued his victorious run with a trip to Newcastle with his son whom you can see in the attached photo ( if you zoom in ) wearing a Jimmy Saville wig.

Mark has his Pesky Bleader hat on which won’t make our own pesky bleaders from Bloxwich any happier after their own match 1 losses this weekend!!

Outwith all that irrelevant tittle tattle, there are just 3 parish notices;

1. CPD ; As a business , we are now very much behind on this ; please look out for a note regarding how we get back on track ( which we must do to avoid a censure from the FCA )

2. Ergo the above , 121’s and file audits will pick up again in earnest , but do not take it personally if you are one of the first selected for an overdue audit. It will come to all .

3. If you haven’t tried RBC yet , please do . Pictured below is the ever- dapper Spencer with Katherine Waller , toasting a £5m sign-off; They are a very progressive lender !

Thanks folks and Congrats again on a great week last week . If you are reading this whilst on a stay-cation , all of us in grim , dull , rain -soaked Darbados are very envious !
