Afternoon all,
Well. It’s once again been a significant week politically in which we have seen parts of the whacky and not so United States take a giant step backwards ....whilst the still clearly in-denial Boris Johnson and his Cronies also came out on the wrong side of a vote via a double whammy defeat in the bi-elections.
But on the sporting front finally it’s time to will on those “Game, Set and Match” announcements as the annual summertime fest that is Wimbledon has commenced - and we can again begin rooting for Raducanu and Murray, who both won their first heat yesterday (though our tennis playing Gaffer sees neither of them winning 4 matches! :(
Poignantly though it is also tennis legend Sue Barker’s last year on board as an official pundit for the event – the end of another era for sporting fans. Anyways ... here's to some excellent action on that Centre Court across the next two weeks folks ! I know I'll be glued to it ...
So. On to your own match-worthy performances this week for you collectively secured a slamtastic £37,735,989 of lending across 110 cases in Week 24.
MORTGAGEFORCE HEADLINES
In first place as top seed this week was Ron ''Rafa'' Walton who secured a very muscular £6,345,821 of lending across 11 cases. The Runner- up was Paul Oglesby with £5,347,302 of lending across 6 cases, his £3,459,375 deal with Kent Reliance/OSB also winning him the “Big Time Borg” Award for this week.
And still on the theme of Love Island styled PECS , in third place was the always finely sports-toned Spencer Havers with £2,905,942 of lending across 5 cases.
Putting in further fine performances on the outside courts this week in terms of their case value and volumes were ; Martin Whitehouse, Paul Varney, Zak Abdul Karim, Ricki Wenn, Rhys Forrest, Simon Holdsworth, Sean McGeough, Nick Harris, Michelle Barraclough and Adriana Rocha.
On the lender front NatWest served up the greatest number of ace deals this week totalling 20 for £6,566,616 of lending.
Protection – Week 24

You also delivered a Grand Slam week over on the Protection side of the business in Week 24 with 30 deals completed of which Nick Price served up 14 deals and Jo Zeff, 8, including the highest policy amount this week of £3,000,000 with L&G.
Then on the provider side you completed the highest number of deals overall this week with L&G totalling 11.
Club Notices For Members

Just a few minor notices this week , all related to Ukraine Aid on Thursday. Half a dozen staff from HQ (including myself! :) will be supporting the Organising Committee and we would really appreciate your help on the following;
1. Please be sure to arrive at 1pm and no later than 1-30pm. We now have a Reserve List for tickets and will be re-selling any no-shows in aid of the orphans.
2. There are excellent Food Concessions at the venue, and none are at Glastonbury prices! It's a great place for a lunch to line your stomach.
3. Only 100 of the 500 attendees have access to the VIP After Party, and Kevin has insisted that this includes all M'force folk. There will be 20 Lender Heads in attendance at this so it's a great opportunity to get acquainted with key industry personnel, but as ever we will all need to be on our bestest tipsy behaviour!
4. It's been humbling just how many of you have already pledged amounts in between £50 and £200 to the Orphans ; please do your best on the day via the QR coded stands which are located at the venue. The Committee are aiming to raise £10,000 on the day and one auction prize is 4 tickets to Centre Court on Wimbledon for Sunday!
5. Finally ; Don't forget your blue jeans and yellow tops ....
See you all there (it's my own first trip '' OUT OUT '' in over 4 years so I'm looking forward to seeing you all , especially all those who've joined us in that period!)
Kerry x
