Finally …… a week with some genuine good news, and also some glitz and glamour (amongst all the gloom!) ; starting with this weekend which saw game, set and match go to Emma Raducanu, the first British woman to win a grand slam title in 45 years and all at the tender age of 18 !
Boy do we have something to be proud of as a nation this week ! ( as do perhaps Canada , Romania and China ??? )
Then after winning the US Open, Emma also went on to smash it at the Met Ball this weekend among fellow A-Listers including Billie Eilish and Rhianna. It was great to see the “chllllebs ” out on parade once more and this followed our own NTA’s last week which marked the annual Ant, Dec and This Morning TV Trophy giveaway! < Gaffer ; what a croc ; they are soooo over-rated >
And finally we also have a biiiiiiig birthday today as Walter enters his sixth decade and he will hopefully be putting on the glitz later on today. A nice Italian for supper , then his 56th watching of Godfather II …. ?
Back to that Raducanu win and you also dealt us a deft hand on the mortgage side of the business this week as you secured a great big silver pot with £30,774,112 worth of loans in it !
Well and truly earning a place on Centre was Simon Holdsworth who topped the mortgage charts this week with £4,626,990 of lending across 2 whopping cases, one of which also earnt him the Jumbo loan plaudits this week for his £4,200,995 deal with NatWest Bank.
Then runners up were Nick Harris with £2,026,306 across 4 cases and Mike Atkinson with £1,987,667 across 4 cases. A good week for the London crew as a gradual return to office work appears to be setting in down there ….
Then other star performances this week in terms of case volume and value came from Sarah Norman, Phil Lyle, Spencer Havers, Tom Sibley, Sean McGeough, Ajay Sharma, Dominic Willett, Paul Varney, James Cosgrave, Ian Braodrick and Rhys Forrest - who distinguished himself yet again and served up a massive 7 cases this week. Rhys is kinda our Emma Rad ….. he’s only been here 5 mins but he’s smashing records at a phenomenol rate !
On the lender side, you secured the greatest number of cases this week with Santander totalling 17 for £6,587,349 of lending.
Protection – Week 36

Not the greatest of performances over on the Protection side of the business compared to the stunners we have witnessed in recent weeks but you still managed to secure 17 policies of which Nick Price completed 8 and Warren Middleton and Sophie Evans secured 3 each.
Sean McGeough secured the highest policy amount this week for £310,000 with Legal and General and on the provider side you completed the greatest number of cases this week with Royal Londontotalling 5.
Birthday’s and other Parish Notices
In addition to Walter’s big day, Many Happy Returns also go to Warren Middleton who will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow and to Spencer Havers, who will be celebrating his birthday on the 17th. Nigel Farage sends you all his best wishes , Spencer !
Management Notices

Just a few snippets this week ;
Buon Compleanno , & Hearty Congrats to Walter on his 60th birthday . Whilst he may well feel that he’s an Al Pacino lookie-likie , his role here at Mortgageforce is
very much as an esteemed and life-experienced ‘’ Consiglieri ‘’ ( Thank God ! ) so you could actually be more of a Robert Duvall , Walt ??? Anyways , many happy returns mate !
Staying with the Avrili clan from the Sicilian town of Corleone , a word on William Avrili . Who along with grand-master Alan Mudd < from Karate Kid ? >
has nailed over £3m in completions and offers in the past 4 weeks . Staying with the Hollywood parallels , one is put very much in mind of Paul Newman and
Tom Cruise from their poolroom epic The Colour Of Money . Well done Alan ….. sharing those 40 years of technical knowledge is vital for us all here at MF . Alan was not born with any Italian blood , but he is still a ‘’ protected guy ‘’ . You cannot diss him without Walt’s permission . As for William , I hope he’s been getting some tennis practice in ( and Nick H too ) as the Centre Court at the Marbella Club has now been booked . 3pm , Weds November 17th . We now only have 3000 grandstand seats to fill !!!
Talking of the Marbs’ tennis combatants , Congrats also to mademoiselles Hadley and Standring ( sounds like a City law firm ??? ) for nailing their first deals last week.
No doubt in a further expression of the Girl Power that is presently permeating this business , we shall shortly see fellow newbies Michelle Claude and Rachel Vernile joining the party very shortly
Zoom calls ; I believe that these start again today ? Thank you for your commitment to these which is very important and which will help us all on the CPD counts where we are absolutely miles behind due to Covid and on which we have been told that the FCA will be making no allowance for that ( largely as all 4000 of them are sat at home still doing an average of 6 Zooms a day , and wondering why we aren’t maintaining that Zoom-activity metric ourselves …. !! Uggh . I despair with those buffoons ….
Have a good week all .
The Management Team .
