Afternoon all , from a sweltering Darbados ! ( 17 degrees and climbing ! ) .

What a week of “eggs- aspiration ” ( sorry , but you can see where this is going! ) as the Ever Given cargo vessel continued to block the Suez Canal causing chaos for the shipping industry ; “eggs- travagance” as Downing Street unveiled its spanking new £2.6 million press room and “eggs-treme” weather as today promises to be the hottest day in March since 1968 whilst we are forecast snow for the Easter weekend! Let’s hope the Easter Bunny wraps up warm hey!

Hopping across to this week’s mortgage figures you completed an equally eggs-ceptional 105 cases in Week 12 totalling £34,096,848 of lending.

Simon Holdsworth took the top spot on the mortgage charts this week with a delicious £4,607,710 of lending across 2 cases and Simon also win’s the Week 12 “ Big Time Bunny” Award for his £3,376,999 case with Barclays /Woolwich. Runner up in the mortgage charts this week was nice Mike 007 Atkinson with £2,907,154 of lending across 5 cases, followed by Ron “The Godfather” Walton with £2,342,984 across 6 cases. Rumours have it that the Godfather and his ladies are extremely busy screening double figure cases this week ; eggs-traordinary , Mr Brando.

Then the following case a day’ers were all eggs-tremely busy last week – step up Phil Lyle, Sarah Norman, Zak Abdul-Karim ( getting all the cases to carries b4 the golf courses re-open ??? ) , a consistently impressive Paul Oglesby, Dominic Willett, Rhys Forrest, Heather Wall, Jaime Lines and Ben Hancox who himself will surely and hopefully be reading this email somewhere on the front 9 at Bloxwich GC…. !

On the lender side you completed the greatest number of cases this week with Santander totalling 17 for £6,919,036 of lending.

Protection - Week 11

Unfortunately, things weren’t looking so scorcchioo over on the protection side of the business this week with just 21 cases completed of which the mighty welsh dragon that is Kevin Gronowcompleted 9 followed by runner up Pete Chappell with 4.

Pete Chappell secured not one but 2 of the highest policy amounts with his £250,000 deals with Zurich Assurance followed by Dominic Willett with his 2 x £229,500 deals with Aviva. Well done Dominic who right now is possibly the best All Rounder out there…

On the provider side you completed the greatest number of deals this week with Aviva totalling 5.

Birthday’s and other Parish Notices

Many Happy returns to Jaime Lines who will be celebrating his Birthday on the 5th April. ( hope you’ve done your tax return Jaime ? )

Management Notices

Well done on another solid week folks ;

A short one this week . Firstly , please check out the brand new Intranet from today ; at www.themortgageforcehub.co.uk

Walter has a user guide for this and he will circulate presently . Feel free to feed back fresh ideas for us on this as it’s effectively the

new broker canteen and water cooler zone which the lack of an office denies us all. To which end , any funnies or anecdotes concerning colleagues

will be most welcome ! ☹

Not too much else this week other than to say that we are a week nearer F2F gatherings happening again for us .

That programme of visits started last week in Swansea where I met the very impressive team at Charles Frank Life .

It’s an excellent set-up down there and in Kevin Gronow and Sophie Evans , CFFL has 2 industry leading superstars !

The May 20th London meeting is already booked in , as are meetings with MF mafioso in East Anglia , Scotland , and West Midlands .

Don’t be concerned if you haven’t had a note yet from Silvia or Kerry as this will follow shortly , and one of the upcoming get togethers will actually be for

here in Derby in June ( most likely June 22nd ) which will be followed by a summer party .

For in the words of Roger Jones , ‘’ … it’s about bloody time we all had a few pints together again …. ‘’ .

Wise words , Lord Jones of Chatteris .
