Activity Charts – Week 25 (15th to 21st June 2021)

Hi all ,

Well . On the week when Glastonbury 2021 would have taken place, we were instead bombarded with images of Mr HandOncock putting on a rather cringe- worthy headline performance of his own with ‘ Mrs Oliver Bonas’ , courtesy of those CCTV shots! Enough of the “Carry On ‘’ style antics now please !!!

Nobody’s moralising here . Affairs etc happen , and some even lead to lasting happiness for all … ! ; It’s more the hypocrisy of telling us all what not to do , whilst he’s breaking every single rule . There will doubtless be more on this , but around NHS / PPE contracts having been awarded to his buddies ??

Anyhows ….. as another music festival bit the dust at least those overpriced strawberries and cream were back on the menu with the return of Wimbledon which on its opening day also saw an emotional and well-deserved standing ovation for Dame Sarah Gilbert of the Oxford/Astra Zeneca fame. And then later on today we have the Ing- ger-land game. Is it coming home?!!!!!!!! The Gaffer ‘s not so sure . Even if the Germans are beaten , he feels that this ‘’ geography schoolteacher ‘’ manager is way out of his depth ? ☹ Hopefully the players just ignore his temerity , and blimmin’ go for it !!!

On to some headline- worthy performances of our own for now with £39,767,103 of lending completed in Week 25 across 108 cases . That was indeed a winning and bold performance .

Man of the match this week was Ron ‘ Marlon ‘ Walton ( once again !!! ) who completed £4,956,600 of lending across 5 cases and no surprise that his £2,790,285 case with Kent Reliance OSB also earnt him this week’s “Big Time Brando-alike ” award! Magnificent Ron , and well done to the Ronettes in the background too who help to make this kind of business happen . Great work , ladies.

Fellow top scorers this week were Ian Broadrick in second place with £3,850,299 of lending across 4 cases and Sarju Rach with £3,363,911 also across 4 cases.

Then special mentions go to Dominic Willett and Zak Abdul Karim for punching well above the £2 million threshold and high case volume hitters this week included , Nick Harris, Paull Varney, Sarah Norman, Adriana Rocha, Sean McGeough, Rhys Forrest and Ricki Wenn.

On the lender side, NatWest were back on top this week with 15 cases completed with them for £7.338,301 of lending.

Protection – Week 25

It was most definitely ‘’ Game, set and match ‘’ on the Protection side of the business this week with a show-stopping 43 deals completed , of which Sophie Evans completed an astonishing 16 !!!!!!! … followed by team mate Kevin Gronow who completed 8. A small consolation we accept for welsh hearts having been broken by Denmark.

Graham Frooms secured the highest policy amount this week of £1, 794,450 with Aviva, followed by runner-up Jo Zeff with her deal for £432,500 with Zurich.

On the provider side you completed the greatest number of protection deals this week jointly with L&G and Scottish Widows, placing 8 deals with each.

Birthday’s and other Parish Notices

Many Happy Returns this week go to Dominic Willett who will be celebrating his Birthday next week on the 5th July . Have a great day Dominic ! < Are the French still crying in their cheese this morning Dom ? >

Management Notices

Not much to add this week folks , especially as there are regional meetings happening ;

  1. Please do keep any eye on your roll-offs ; As Michelle remarked here in Derby this morning , some of the PT rates now really are at record low levels ; the Purchase market may clearly cool and lenders are determined not to se their NET volumes reduce which is what happens when they suffer churn .

  2. Annual Knowledge Tests ; coming your way soon ; please complete and return asap.

That’s all folks ! ( hopefully a mis-firing Harry Kane won’t be saying that tonight at 7pm …or even later if its pens ! ☹ )
