The week that was 25th January

In a week when our Napoleonic Boris has got his various lap dogs (Sajid Javid) defending his allegedly idle and manipulative wife - Carrie Antoinette, it's heartening to know that across our own business it's actually the girls who are starting 2022 in buccaneering fashion. But more on that in a minute . ..

And so while Carrie may go down in history as the country’s most famous party planner (unfortunately many of the guests have decided to vacate the party early!), the music industry is set for its own big night of partying tonight as the 2022 Brit Awards takes place and then if anyone deserves a good knees up it’s her Majesty who celebrated 70 years on the throne!

Unfortunately, Man U’s supporters were not in the similar party spirit after they suffered THAT defeat on Friday!

But onto this week’s figures for the mortgage side of the business and you secured a very celebratory £31,996,194 of lending across 104 cases in Week 4 of 2022.

Chris Taylor may not be one of the winning acts on stage later on this evening but he still managed to top our own charts this week with £2,757,260 of lending across 2 cases, his £2,510,670 deal with NatWest also securing him this week’s “Big Time Barry” Award.

Then runner’s up this week were Sarju Rach with £2,468,865 of lending across 4 cases and Nick Harris with £2,172,775 of lending across 5 cases.

Star performances this week also came from Steve Hankins and Sean McGeough who each completed a chart topping 6 cases.

Back to the ladies then; And in what was an Olympic week for many, we had 5 ladies who were definitely ski ing downhill at pace, almost in synchronisation as each appeared to be keying a case within minutes of each other.

Step forward Lorraine Standring, Michelle Claude, Laura Mitchell, Michelle Barraclough and Rachel Vernile, who wrote an astonishing 21 cases between them; exceptional, especially given that 2 of them haven't actually been with us that long; Girl Power or what .... ! :)

On the lender front this week you had the most productive week with NatWest completing 27 cases with them for £9,611,329 of lending.

Protection – Week 4

ree

Things continued “Movin on up“ on the protection side of the business with 33 deals completed this week of which Nick Price secured 13, with Colette Hall and Sophie Evans completing 6 cases each.

Colette also secured the highest policy amount this week for £520,199 with Royal London and on the provider side you also completed the greatest number of deals with Royal London overall totalling 8.

Birthday’s and other Parish Notices

Many Happy Returns this week to Sandy McIlvenna who will hopefully be getting spoilt rotten on her Birthday which also falls on Valentines Day!

Management Notices

Nothing here this week folks, but do please ensure that you have all read and digested the recent memo regarding the emerging opportunities for the business and yourselves in the Lifetime / Rio space; These developments will have the potential to be real game-changers for the business.
