Well this year’s Oscars certainly packed a punch! With Will Smith’s “slapping” of Chris Rock completely eclipsing the limelight from this year’s winners (who included, along with Will for anyone who is still interested, Jessica Chastain, CODA and Billie Eilish)
Then just like the Oscar’s ceremony, things have been pretty heated of late weather wise here, but we are now reportedly in for snow in some areas of the UK this week as the temperatures are set to plummet - just when Spring had finally sprung and we were getting used to that orange thing in the sky!
Finally, ahead of our own Live Aid style event (see fuller details below), the Concert for Ukraine will take place tonight in Birmingham featuring Ed Sheeran and Anne Marie among others.
Onto this week’s figures and you too gave it some wallop this week over on the mortgage side of the business with £36,744,709 of lending completed across 117 deals.
Dominic Willett led the pack this week with £4,550,360 of lending across 6 cases, one of which earnt him this week’s “Big Time Barry” Award for his £2,968,875 deal with Bank of Canada.
Then came this week’s runner up – Spencer Havers with £2,668,302 of lending across 6 cases and Sarah Norman with £2,424,509 of lending across 7 cases.
Then walking that red carpet of success this week in terms of case volumes and value were Warren Middleton, Sarju Rach, Zak Abdul Karim, Martin Whitehouse, Nick Harris, Raff Federico, Sandy McIlvenna, Mike Atkinson and David Scotland.
On the lender side you secured the greatest number of deals this week with NatWest totalling 18 for £7,093,665 of lending.
Protection – Week 11

You were certainly giving it some clout on the protection side of the business too this week with 46 policies completed of which Nick Price secured 25 (!!!) and Sophie Evans 14.
Jo Zeff secured the highest policy amount of £1,196,719 with Aegon and on the provider side you completed the greatest number of deals overall with Scottish Widows totalling 7.
