Morning folks,
Rachel T here this week (Kerry is away daaan saaarf in Bournemouth celebrating her 50th š).
Well Jeeze .... WHAT a week, especially after last week's record breaking exploits. More in a moment on your finest week in 3 months! š
Sadly it wasn't a stellar week for all, not least Alec Baldwin. The Gaffer says he 'd never recruit him (.. as we of course have a No Dickh**ds @MF Policy! š ...) and it was a tragic & needless way for anyone to lose their life.
Sport is often broadcast in a tragic context. Which is of course , ridiculous. Though in parts of Surreychester and Delhi this week there may be some folk who feel differently!
ć Shak .... have you landed back on planet Earth yet after that amazing and BABARic double thrashing by your two teams? šššć
Anyhows. Thrashings perhaps come in 3's ..... as in Week 42 you totally rinsed the Society's budgeted expectations with a Salah-tastic 142 mortgages for over 44 million squid of lending!
(ps ... is anyone else enjoying the Squid thingy on TV? š„ļø)
The biggest prawn in the MF Cocktail last week was Zak AK who served up an astonishing 10 cases. He was closely followed by Ajay (who unlike Mr Kohli) who swamped the boards with 8 cases and Colette who bathed in 6 cases amounting to £2.8 m in lending.
The biggest whale in your ocean was landed once again by Simon Holdsworth who hauled in a £2.73 m catch with RBC. William Avrilli and Alan Mudd also trawlered and ribboned a whopper with a £ 1.6 m case with HSBC.
Naturally with 142 cases netted, many of you had fine outings and these included the following .....Nick Harris (again !) , Sean McGeough (again !) , Ron Walton (again !), Rhys Forrest (again !) , James Cosgrove, and in the west midlands it was Claire
Hutchinson who was lobstering it, in the week that the Pesky Bleaders got their sparkling new office fronted with their logoās (they have more trading styles than the gafferās new neighbour , Steve Froggatt , had clubs!? š)
The Gaffer ( in his self-confessed David Brent style ! ) is forever telling us up here that āā today 's sardines are tomorrow's great whites āā ZZZZZZ!!!! . So it was inspiring also to see our newest Nemo, Lorraine Standring netting 3 cases of her own from her
Halloween bunker .
In fact, we appear to have quite a Girl Power thing going on here in Derby right now! < Gaffer; The 5 of them are rightly looking forwards to Marbs and both the Army & Mark Nathan have now been mobilised to pack their 86 frocks in to their 12 Samsonite cases š >

PROTECTION UPDATE;
On the Protection side the records also continue to fall. 51 cases was the third best in our history and not surprisingly the Swans & Taffs really smashed it with Nick Price writing 16 , and Kevin Gronow 12 .
Us Little Englanders are however now fighting back here and it was fantastic to see Rhys , Neil , Ricki and Pete Chappell nailing 21 policies between them.
MANAGEMENT & MEMBER NOTICES

1. Zoom calls. A quick Thank You to all who attend these (we/CHRIS B do make a note of those who don't btw!!).
Your attendance on these is really appreciated and notwithstanding your CPD points they help to secure us decent propositions with all of our lenders. Please keep it up as we near the final furlong.
2. Product Transfers . Last week's numbers actually contained far more purchases than we imagined (48 %). This is clearly very heartening, but it's apparent also that our trade body's forecasted PT bonanza is also now upon us.
Please ensure you stay 1 step ahead of the lenders ! This weekās miscreant lender was the Furness , and Ron has an alarming tale about their client-poaching to tell all ! ā¹š
3. Working From Home.
Please look out for a few notes from us in the coming weeks.
Some of these will be broker-centric and will feature how we plan to defeat the FCA on any 2022 challenges around it (especially re: CPD, Overseas broker domiciles , F2F One-To-Ones & Supervision etc).
And one memo will focus on the MF staff policy and tweaks & expectations for 2022.
4. New Joinees . Finally , a very warm welcome to our two new brokers from Knight Frank and Primis , Ben Jeffries and David Scotland , ( from Executive Mortgage Management ) . These guys are formidable practitioners
and their decision to join Mortgageforce above a host of other soliciting contenders speaks well for us . They have already screened their first cases and they will be no strangers to the Tuesday headlines in weeks and months to come .
p.s. We will also be notifying you all of our Xmas / New Year office hours.
Congrats to all on a terrific start to Q4.
The Management Team.
